Toggle Switch Modification

On the right is the switch as shipped to you.  The top and bottom plastic tabs, and some plastic off the sides must be removed for this switch to fit in the Prius cutouts (we use a Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel).  The switch on the left is one that has been modified and fits snugly into the cutout.  If this modification is done properly, the switch needs nothing more than its snug fit to hold it in and looks like a factory part!  Also, as supplied, it is a momentary on.  If you want an on/off, just carefully remove the switch body from the housing (plastic tabs hold it together), form a small hook on the end of a paperclip and pull the spring out, then reassemble.
